Forex Pip Value
The importance of a pip in forex
In fact, what is a pip in Forex Market? Before details on the definition of a pip, I would first like explain how currency works. Forex or foreign exchange market is buying and selling foreign currency for another. There is an effect of yin and yang in the currency market, because when currency strengthens, the other currency weakens. Knowing the right time to buy and sell is how you can make money in this market.
Keep in mind the Forex market daily fluctuations that change by the minute!
So now back to the question about what they are nuggets of hard currency. A pip is the smallest unit of price for a currency is traded. Normally, most currencies are traded up to four decimal points, so a pip is 0.0001 percent. It seems insignificant, but bear in mind that the standard Forex market is $ 100, 000, so a pip is $ 10. However, the only exception is the Japanese yen, which is usually traded to two decimal places.
The mechanism of this negotiation is such that if you buy a currency, also have to sell another currency. So prices are traded in pairs, the USD / EUR is the most active currency traded in the market. So the more active is a currency pair, the smaller the gap between supply and demand prices. Sometimes the couple has an active currency possible spread of just 2 pips currency. The stock market is different in the sense that no broker fees payment. Therefore, as a buyer, the pip spread is vital to you.
After buying a currency, you must accept the loss immediately. The value of you buy the currency should rise to the extent of the spread of seed before the point of balance and rising value of money again to make a profit. In theory, the lower pip spread, the easier it is to make a profit and vice versa.
However, keep in mind that pip spread is not guaranteed the currency market fluctuates constantly.
