Forex Beginners Guide

The Forex Market is a nonstop cash market in foreign currencies of countries commonly marketed through intermediaries. As foreign currencies are bought and sold continuously through local and global markets, investment opportunities abound in large measures.

Private investors can trade foreign currencies directly or indirectly through the spot market, forwards and futures, options, contracts for differences and betting. Most investors are attracted to the Forex market in the short term for many reasons, including:

  1. A 24-hour trading, 5 days a week, with access to global Forex Dealers
  2. An enormous liquid market making it easy to trade most foreign currencies
  3. Many Volatile markets offering profit opportunities
  4. Standard instruments used to control exposure
  5. The ability to profit in rising or falling markets
  6. Leveraged trading with low margin requirements
  7. Many options for zero commission trading

As indicated in a guide of typical currency, trade only when you expect the currency you are buying to increase in relative value compared to the one you are selling. If there is an increase in the value of the currency bought, then efforts should be made to sell back to the original coin to make a profit.

Since the foreign exchange market is highly speculative, which means that the person or institution that bought or sold the currency has no plan for the delivery of the currency, but was only speculating on the movement of that particular currency.

While the Forex market generates very profitable results, the risks are enormous. Risk countries for risk exchange rate to interest rate risks and credit risks, approximately 80% of all currency transactions only for a period of seven days a week or less, while over 40% last less than two days. The very short life expectancy of a typical trade reduces the risks enormous and creates the need for technical indicators and much needed guide to other currencies.
